I am an interdisciplinary artist originally born in Stockholm, Sweden and now call Atlanta, Georgia home. My art explores narratives, identities, and culture through alternative history and Afrofuturism. My practice reclaims and protects the Black Self. Within my artworks, there is an analysis of history that seeks an advancement of Black people as well as an understanding the hinderances that precent that.

I explore what a decolonized mind would look like and how to manifest that mind in their art. I earned my BFA in 2D Studio from Georgia Southern University in 2019 and my MFA from the University of Georgia in 2023.

I am a first-generation immigrant born in Sweden to a family of Nigerian origin. Through immersing myself in the contemporary art world, such as visiting art museums and public family collections, listening to visiting artists, studying abroad, and attending Art Basel in the past few years, I have been able to formulate my concepts and beliefs into their own imagery. I have traveled to several different countries, seeing my art and cultures through history, influencing my own artistic values and techniques. I have exhibited in multiple exhibitions and worked on several community workshops and projects which I’ve developed a passion for.

I am a skilled UX Designer and Artist with a passion for creating captivating and meaningful design solutions. With over seven years of experience in the industry, I have a deep understanding of the design process, from conducting user research to crafting high-fidelity mockups.

As a UX Designer, I thrive on collaborating with cross-functional teams, including developers, to bring innovative design ideas to life. My keen attention to detail and problem-solving skills allow me to identify and overcome design challenges, delivering exceptional results every time. My expertise lies in conducting thorough research and testing to ensure that our designs meet the needs of our users. I am adept at quickly sketching out my ideas and communicating them effectively with my team.

With a strong focus on delivering exceptional user experiences, I am always looking for new ways to push the boundaries of design and create impactful solutions that delight and inspire.
